Just wondering if it is any good. Any body used it? Anybody know anything else about it? Search Google for "Denny Klein", "HHO Gas", "Klein(s) Gas", or "Aquygen". Reply:Seen it, very interesting advances for Hyrdo. I'm not sure anybody has "used" it yet...other than those folks.John - fabricator extraordinaire, car nut!- bleeding Miller blue! http://www.weldfabzone.com
Reply:Seven grand would buy you one hell of a plasma cutter- or more likely, a plasma cutter, a big tig machine, a mig machine, and an oxy-acetylene rig.And they neglect to mention the amperage draw, but as I understand it, in most places, after you pay the seven grand, you still pay more in electricity bills than you would for acetylene.there is no question it works- it just is not cost effective.
Reply:This is really a hydrogen fueled torch. I have not used hydrogen torches however I worked with several fellows who used them at a lead/zinc smelter site. One of the process byproducts was hydrogen gas which they used off a manifold for flame cutting steel when doing maintenance, repair and fabrications. The smelter abandoned it and went to MAAP gas which was much safer. These guys mentioned that they felt a lot more comfortable with the MAAP. |
