I have a one inch cluster of copper wire(500V line) and I want to fuse the copper along the length to see if I can eventually make it look like a piece of wood.  The desired outcome would be to create something that looks like a Bonsai, only not as intricate.  If anyone has any suggestions please share.Ouizee
Reply:Use DC- and helium Thoriated tungsten sharpened the same as steelyou might be able to fuse it if not Copper filler Rod is available  Miller Dynasty 350Twenty Six HammersThree Crow BarsBig Rock
Reply:B_C, what gauge is that sheet, and what amps??
Reply:Use sil-phos to solder it istead. If you weld it you lose the 'grain' of the material and just have a mass of copper. Sil Phos is easy to use, needs no flux when used on copper, and will highlight the grain structure.
