have to replace the gun on my miller 60 series wire feeder and thought i would ask what people thought about the different brands of guns
Reply:Im really pleased with the Binzel gun. Well made, nice switch, good design, and the price isnt too shabby. Ive fooled around with a magnum 350 and nope, dont like it. That pretty much sums up my experience with mig torches.Various GrindersVictor Journeyman torch200cf Acet. 250cf oxygenLincoln 175 plus/alpha2 gunLincoln v205t tigLincoln 350mpEsab 650 plasmaWhen you can get up in the morning, Its a good day.Live each day like its your last.
Reply:I run a tweco #4 on my Millermatic 200...I love it, Smoothest machine in the shop."If you live in Sacramento you have seen my work."
Reply:I like the tweco 1 torch, its nice and light and maneuverable feels good in your hand, and will fit into tight places very well but I do mainly sheet metal. But its not good for higher amperage welds for long periods of time and I think the tips only go up to .035".See if your local welding supply will let you try out the different size torches.Last edited by weldingman24; 02-10-2007 at 04:51 AM.
Reply:I just bought a Binzel for my miller as the old one finally went and WOW what a nice gun. I love the adjustable head. It looks very tuff and looks like it will take allot od abuse compared to the old one. Super glad I bought it.Miller DVI2Lincoln Precision Tig 225Thermodynamics Cutmaster 38Everything else needed.
