I know its been asked and talked about but is there any new idea on getting rid of that white etching zone that isn't destructive? This sucks.
Reply:A mild phosphoric acid rinse will disolve the etching. Then polish with AutoSol metal polish or Maquire's mag polish. You can minimize your etching zone by increasing the frequency of you arc.Weld like a "WELDOR", not a wel-"DERR" MillerDynasty700DX,Dynasty350DX4ea,Dynasty200DX,Li ncolnSW200-2ea.,MillerMatic350P,MillerMatic200w/spoolgun,MKCobraMig260,Lincoln SP-170T,PlasmaCam/Hypertherm1250,HFProTig2ea,MigMax1ea.
