Check this out at http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?i...emType=PRODUCTthe Eastwood CompanyIt's a slip on form guage you can set to what you need the notch to be, then slide it over the tube/pipe and scribe the line to cut. Looks neat to me.

Reply:Bigcountry1009, the Pipemaster tools are indeed very handy. The Eastwood Company you linked to doesn't list very many sizes. If you go to http://www.pipemastertools.com/ there are listings of all the sizes they make, virtually every size of pipe and tubing. There is also a page with some very good instructions for using the Pipemaster on this page of their website: Pipemaster InstructionsPipemaster tools are available at many of the racing suppliers. I got my 1 3/4" (rollbar tubing size) from Van Sant Enterprises Trick Tools. They have all the sizes you'll be interested in as a "car guy", and have quick service.Day Motorsports also has them., and give great service as well. www.daymotorsports.comEdEdLast edited by BigEd36; 04-15-2007 at 11:08 AM.When the drops the stops!Check out my website at: Tombstone 180 ACHandler 120Millermatic 210Powermax 380Harris & Victor torchesSawzallChop Saw |
