My new Hypertherm Powermax 1000 (G3) operator's manual does not mention anything of a duty cycle for this machine. Does that make it automatically 100%?All welders have a duty cycle, even if it is 100% like my Lincoln Weldanpower. What makes a plasma cutter different? Or was I just lucky to pick a unit without a duty cycle dependent capacity?WeldingWeb forum--now more sophomoric banter than anything else!
Reply:There may be a tag on the machine itself that has a rating. If you can't find some info I'd contact Hypertherm._________________Chris
