ebay cylinders for purchase

Has anyone bought from "thegasguys" on ebay?  I'm needing a tank and they have good prices compared to local even with shipping.  And it's easier for me to use PayPal.
Reply:What size tank, cost, and which gas  ? Just curious. The tank must be a small size like a 40 or maybe a 80. It would cost almost the same to fill a 80 as a 125. I would check on exchange or refilling cost from local supplier before buying online. Some suppliers can be funny with tanks. One place will refill your tank put you gotta leave it and come back in a few days when refilled.
Reply:I actually just wanna bring it in for an exchange. Cause it's a 60CF oxygen $79. They have a helium 80cf on cheap as well.
Reply:Price sounds cheap compared to what my places charges for a full 60, but don't forget to add the gas fill to the cylinder cost. If it costs you say $35 to fill it, you are pretty much where my place is for a full cylinder. Also don't forget to add shipping if they charge it. I've seen guys who thought they got  a "great" deal" on line, only to find their total with shipping exceeded the cost of new locally AND they still needed to get it filled....No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:Cheapest local place I found is 129$+35$ for gas for a 40cf bottle. The other 2 places are more.

Reply:I passed on that one. Maybe I'll try another one. I asked it was dot stamped and this was the reply:"3aa2015 test date is 10 / 11 never filled thanks"I'm unclear what that meant. A simple yes or no would have been ok.
Reply:That is a yes.  3aa is the DOT certification.  2015 is the service pressure.  Date is self explanatory.
