speedglass 9000?

I was wondering if anyone uses the speedglass 9000 hoods?  i can get a used one for a decent price , just for a back up hood and to spray with.  I have tried it and i thinkthe curved lense on front kinda bothers me some,  just want some input on it if anyone uses themor knows anyone.  Iam not 100% sure what model it is but i know its a 9000 something.

Reply:If you wanna do pulse, spray arc just use a standard lenses in shade 11 or 12 ( I use a shade 12 older lincoln super visibility and sometimes still see spots if I got it cranked up... Reply:I got one I think mine is a 9002d had it for years welded tig with it about 2 years, mig with it couple of years, and lots of stick welding never had a problem with it I keep it on 11 pretty much all the time, every now and then I put it on 9 for tig.  They are awesome helmets love mine.
