Is it me or TA 185 Arcmaster Owners Manual a little vague???

Reply:I would agree with you.  I have a TA 200.  I'm just a Hobby welder, not professional by any means.  I read the manual several times.  In some sections of the manual, I have more questions than answers afterwards.  I found that the laminated "Quick Reference" guide that came with the machine was the easiest way to get the settings set up correctly.  This site and other stuff I've found on the WEB are helpful.  Just be aware that there is just as much mis-information out there as there is good info.
