I have been lurking here for a while and have been drooling over the work on here. I just Ordered my first tig machine. Lincoln PT225 It took a while to save the money. A lws got me the best price i could find even better then online. I cant wait to get it and start welding. I have never tig welded before so be looking for some questions... I am sooo excited... Reply:Congrats, you made a good choice on that machine. It will serve you well, and gives you a wide range of materials to work with. I also think you were better off for going with the LWS you will need consumables, and gas, etc... and they always treat you better if they know they can depend on your business. There are some very knowledgeable tig artist on this forum so you should be able to get all your questions answered quickly. Reply:Thanks guys! i have wanted a tig machine for many years now. I really enjoy welding and metal work in general it really is a nice way to "get away" from daily stuff. I am truly amazed by the work i see on this site. if i do half as well as some of you i will be very pleased. |
