Reply:single phase, i ran #4 copper from the panel to the outlet because i had the #4 handy. the machine cord is #6 SO cord about 10' long and i'm using a 60 amp breaker. yes i know it's smaller than called for but there was a big difference in price so i figured i'd give it a try and have never had any issue with the 60 amp. when i initially set the machine up, i cranked it all the way up and with a water cooled torch started wailing on some 1/2" aluminum plate...i couldn't trip the breaker so i figured it was OK as i never run the machine that hard anyhow
Reply:Mine is set up on single phase, 100amp breaker, and I believe #6 wire from the machine to the breaker, with an isolated ground.
