The local home depot and lowes only have a 60 grit wheel I think. I am looking for a really fine grit for grinding tungsten. Any ideas of how to locate somewhere that stocks these local to Tampa, FL? The local welding supply I called said they have carbide 80 grit wheels for $46, but I'd rather go with a $10 wheel for now.Thermal Arc 185TSW
Reply:Eegads guy , getting what you want is one thing, paying what you want is another. Getting both is a rare jewell ..I don't know that I'd want to put my face in front of a 6" $10.00 wheel spinning at 8 grand anyway.
Reply:If you can't find one in town try this http://www.mcmaster.com or http://www.mscdirect.com |
