Reply:WOW, did you make that machine yourself or is it made by another company? I would like to see some close-ups of the milling head/dovetails. I've got a use for something like that, but don't want to purchase anything.MarkI haven't always been a nurse........Craftsman 12"x36" LatheEnco G-30B MillHobart Handler 175Lincoln WeldandPower 225 AC/DC G-7 CV/CCAdd a Foot Pedal to a Harbor Freight Chicago Electric 165A DC TIG PapaLion's Gate Build
Reply:More pictures and details, please! It's not until picture #4 that we see how much metal you're removing. Was this a refit? Just curious- prior to milling, just a fraction of the rollers was showing, and now a lot more of the rollers is showing. Interesting stuff, very cool.
Reply:That's some kind of setup!! How much meat can you take off before the rail has to be replaced? Looks like it could take a few more cuts over the lifetime before you get into the axles or weaken the axle area"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
