I had some of my autobody students welding up some trays so they could practice their measuring, cutting, mitering, squaring, plasma and welding skills. It seems to me, that they learn much more when they are building something and applying the techniques that they have learned. The trays are 18" X 8". (they actually are for another project)The project I am working on has a ton of small brackets, nuts and bolts. The trays work really well for keeping that stuff captured. I also found out it worked great to clamp to while grinding or welding a little spot. Attached Images |
