Hello I'm new to this fourm. I'm in Lafayette, In. and I am looking for a good ac/dc tig machine, prefer square wave type. Will buy or trade. I have a clark 5000# hard tire forklift, welders, gooseneck trailer, flat bottom boat, & alot more for trade. I've been welding, building projects, fixing up and trading for years. (I've been told it keeps a guy out of the pool halls.) I'm just learning you can do it on computers too. This looks like a good way for people to connect with same interests. Reply:Hello Walt, I don't know year but would say its a older machine. It still has mag. ingition system. I haven't ran it in over a year, but it ran good and welded great. I finally got a weekend off, I need to go out and crank her up. I still remember how it would just fry a 1/8" rod. It needs to be working instead of sitting in barn. From ebay they seem to be worth about $1000. , I quess I would start there. I need to get # 's off it and go to lincoln to really tell you age. I can do pictures too if interested. Reply:Its twenty foot on the flat. I'll try to post a picture tomorrow. Nice heavy frame trailer , but needs finished. A guy came by with his attempt at building a trailer and wanted it all redone. I rebuilt it for him the way he wanted it and then he didn't have any money. He seemed like a nice guy? His bill was $2500. Thats what I am asking. It now has frame of 6" channel doubled & welded into like box tube. Floor has diamond plate runners lenth wise with exception of like 2' in center. He was going to put in treated wood. It has 2 axles now. I think it needs 1 more axle and a dove tail put on. Then cleaned up and painted, which is what I will do if I don't trade it off first. I am looking for a tig arc starter box and a wire feeder, push pull setup or spool gun. I prefer miller but anything that works, works right. Thanks for for your time. Charlie

Reply:Thanks but I have bought a miller shopmaster 300 that was listed here, or I should say I have paid for one. My guy is having a hard time getting it on a truck for me. I am now looking for a tig arc starter box for it. Charlie |
