I would like to run my shielding gas across my shop with a valve near my work area. What type of tubing should I use? PEX, PVC, vinyl, latex? The cheaper the better.

Reply:Correct me if I'm wrong here. I don't think argon is something I'd want to inhale all day. I am pretty sure it starves your body of oxygen or takes it away.Melt-n-Metal
Reply:You're doing it right now!"Argon is the third most common gas in the Earth's atmosphere, at 0.93% (9,300 ppm), making it approximately 23.8 times as abundant as next most common atmospheric gas, carbon dioxide (390 ppm), and more than 500 times as abundant as the next most common noble gas, neon (18 ppm).... Argon is colorless, odorless, and nontoxic as a solid, liquid, and gas." -Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ArgonI am talking about welding with it not breathing it.Last edited by Aircamperace; 02-02-2013 at 08:58 PM.Reason: explanation
Reply:I just have multiple size lines going to different spots in the shop. Its less expensive if there is a leak. |
