Hard Facing

Ive been approched by a fella who has the machine to hard face with TC and has ask if I would be interested in doing all of his work ,my question is being ive never done this is it much different than normal mig and what does it normally pay as we haven't talked money yet ,I standard rate in shop 45 per hr . Reply:I get my hourly rate plus consumables, usually the customer buys the hardfacing for me.Disclaimer; "I am just an a$$hole welder, don't take it personally ."

Reply:I seen Miller has has nice vented hood at a nice price ,ive been wanting a vented air flow hood or a face mask any one have any good ones they use
