Well I finally said uncle and threw in the blue towel with this purchase. All I personally own is miller equipment but have used some Lincoln engine drives in the past, so I already knew what I was up against. After comparing prices I decided to go with a lincoln  and very glad with my purchase. Just got around to playing with her and what a sweet machine! Only got a chance to play around minimally with arc settings and stuff and it could only get better with some tweaking. I've been wanting to build a outdoor welding table strictly for stick work in the fresh air so I used her for her first project and very satisfied. I added pads under the legs the next morning, and shes done now, I have a bunch of vises laying around so I may add one later on. 304ss top 1/2" that I bought from a new member here, Extrememetalworks! Dynamite guy, and I really hit it off well with him. Figured I would share a few photos. Figures first test run was in the rain and snow! Yes, first time I witnessed a 50* blizzard in the sun that could'nt amount to nothing. Strange. But anyway guys, i'll give a full report on her when I get a chane to play around more.  Attached ImagesI hate being bi-polar it's awsomeMy Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys

Reply:Hey Mike ,                 Another thing from my own experience I hope you have that thing padlocked or bolted down to the bed of your truck or chain the dog to it because the rock smoker's will surely be looking to make easy pickens of that machine. And  I agree we coulda shot the **** for another 4 hrs had I hadn't had date plans with the wife. We will have to get together again over the summer!

Reply:Just be careful with the toggle switch on her.   I have a brand new one as well that hasnt seen 4 hours of use but has 45 hours on the hourmeter due to the switch being knocked on...   Otherwise a kick A$$ machine.   I love mine on open root pipe.   Makes open root pipe easy to weld...Journeyman / Red Seal Welder (What a useless test)Miller CST 280Miller XMT 350Miller 12vs XtremeEvolution Evo 28 mag drillEvolution 380 Dry Cut saw
