New Brake for My Buddy.

I was at a customer's shop and I saw this Wysong 90 ton press brake sitting in the corner. I asked him what he was going to do with it. He said he wanted to sell it, and he would like to get 6G for it. I offered him 4G cash and he took it.So I came back the next day with my truck and picked it up. Well, I happened to  know my buddy's brake was broken. So when I told him what I had he was thrilled. Here are the pictures of me delivering it to his shop.I think he owes me one now

Reply:You know that machine sat up against the wall in the back corner of that shop with stuff piled all around it for at least 3 years. I think I just happened to be in the right place at the right time.His old AirTherm brake weighs over 20,000 and right now scrap is bringing 11.5 cents a pound delivered, so he will get half his money back right away. He was at an auction about 3 days before this and saw the same model Wysong brake go for 14,000 and it wasn't as nice I was down his place yesterday to remind him what a great friend I am lol. I walked out with a smith torch and a couple of oxygen bottles. About a month ago I got a 5,000 pound Linde Baker diesel forklift from him. I think somehow he is going to repay the favor.
