heres some saw horses I made outta 1" pipe and unistrut, the sleeves that allow them to swivel are like 1 1/2" or something I don't remember, but they are very sturdy and solid, u can bolt 2x4s to the top so as you have no fear while ripping plywood or whatever, the ones I built have had about 1500 pounds on em and they held good, any way heres a pic thought someone would like to see a well built saw horse for heavy duty use, cant buy them like this at the box storesMiller Syncrowave 210 w/CK FlexLoc 150 3/6/14ESAB PCM 1125 Plasma CutterAtlas 12x36 LatheACER 9x42 3hp millHarig 612 Surface GrinderDRINK Machine welding&fabrication

Reply:They held 1500 lbs. Wow! I'm building a rack for my truck now, from 1 5/8 tube (material from Fence Co across the way from me). I should be good to go, as I'm only planning on loading it with a maximum of 600 lbs.-AaronJet 17.5" Drill Press1942 South Bend 16x84 Lathe1980s Miller 320A / BP --- 2013 Power Mig 2562012 Jet 7x12 Horizontal BandsawVictor O/A Setup

Reply:The foldup design is real handy. AND PAINTED TOOMade these crappy looking old things probably 12-15yrs ago when I was building the loader. Was back in the day before I really got the lowdown on the right way to do it. I used to whip like a banshee And I really NEVER saw the puddle because I didn't really know what to look for I used to weld observing the slag while running the bead. I found that after a number of times I could pretty well predict what was underneath the slag. It was a half azzed way of doing things. But it worked..............sorta Been a lot of water under the bridge since those days. It's why I always envy the guys that have been to a school, was hard to learn on my own.Anyways, I like your horses"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
