6010 Welding on A/C (Video)

Goodafternoon, everyone!So, I'm sure that we've all heard that you can't weld with 6010 on A/C... But, have you ever seen someone make a legitimate attempt at actually doing it?Well I hadn't, so I decided to give it a go. It actually worked much better than I thought it would, granted 5P 6010 is good stuff and the Precision Tig 225 has an exceptionally good SMAW mode, but I wont say it worked well. Among other problems, it doesnt really tolerate "any" arc lenght, and back-n-forth whip & pause movements? Forget about it. Now a couple thousand people know what happens... If they'd done what I did, roughly 10,000 electrodes would have been "wasted". I used 5, and thus "saved" 9,995 6010's... Reply:Whenever I first got my 180 amp buzbox, it came with 6010,6011,6013 and 7018 not the AC type. I tried em all but I didnt have a clue about polarity  I think I know why I like 7018 best now.
