well, nobody chimed in on the dake VS. scotchman post, but i know that i want the scotchman... that is what i have used in the past and i know it is one of those tools that will outlast me if i take care of it.at any rate, i am sort of stuck with single phase for the next year or so and i can get a single phase saw, but it is only a single speed... not a big problem, but it would be nice to have the low speed that is only available on the 3 phase units.anyway, i just bought a millrite mill and found out that a bunch of guys with them run a $150 VFD unit and they love them. supper simple to run and it gives you much more control.  so knowing this, could i get the 2 speed 3 phase scotchman and put a VFD on it?drive:  http://www.factorymation.com/s.nl/sc.2/category.11/.fsaw:  http://www.scotchman.com/specs.php?index=21thanks!-ian
