Reply:NiceLooks like a powerful grinder
Reply:I hope your drill worksout better than mine. I bought one just like it, and it didn't last 3 months. Sent it back off, and it lasted 6 months. I just chalked it up as a loss. I thought Milwaukee was being made in China now?I'm a Lover, Fighter, Wild horse Rider, and a pretty good welding man......
Reply:We have a Milwaukee hammer drill at work, the German one, that has also failed. This one has a bad trigger unit, maybe others are the same. It's not hard to replace, but I haven't gotten around to doing it yet.We run Milwaukee grinders exclusively. Most fail due to the operators running over their cords, an easy repair. The brushes burn out after a while. The highest power model has quick change brush cartridges that make replacement really easy. We had one of the 12 amp 4.5 inch units fail last week, it burned out the rotor and is not worth repairing. Most Milwaukee stuff is made in Mexico, now. The original Magnum drill (the best ever made) is still made in USA.Last edited by 76GMC1500; 08-31-2008 at 10:53 PM.
