Reply:The welder looks like a new SAE300. If it was older SA200, it would probably start right up like nothing happened.

Reply:That was plenty ugly. And no doubt VERY costly. I saw a similar screw up with a 55 ton Grove RT. Bozos went 6 part line without checking to see if the had enough rope on the drum to reach the ground with the boom at full extension. It was only a 750HP vertical hollow shaft motor that they destroyed. Nothing like that turbine rotor.
