Hello,I have a MillerMatic 211 Autoset with 100 series spool gun. I had to weld some 1" x 1" aluminum bar as part of my last project. I have gotten pretty good at aluminum welding, including the big stuff, but am always wondering if I can do a better job. Anyway, I was chatting with a foreman at a large fabrication shop nearby, and he said all of their structural aluminum welding was done with .045 flux core aluminum and other welds were done with .035 solid aluminum wire. does he know what he is talking about?I found a thread on here from back in '08 and it appears there is no such thing as flux cored aluminum? Is this still true?good luck -jim
