My air will not shut off. I opened up the machine and disconnected the wire to the air solenoid and it stopped. The solenoid seems to be working proper. I believe my curcuit board is triggering the solenoid which is making it un useable. Does any body know of a 'reputable' pc board repair facility. I have found a few that offer a $350 exchange, but if there was no issues with my board then I am still at square one. I would like somebody to repair mine. Any link to a buisness with a good track record would be appreciated.
Reply:I am an ESAB lover. But those little machines, though good, do have some pc board issues from time to time. Try here. http://innovatcorp.com/page/kzjh/Company.htmlThey did my PC board on my Ranger 8 and it worked perfectly when it came back. Also they offer an exchange. They fixed it cheaper and better than anyone else. ESAB is harder to get fixed because of the "proprietary" stuff that they refuse to provide schematics on.Hope this works.Oh, Hi, welcome to the board...Esab Migmaster 250Lincoln SA 200Lincoln Ranger 8Smith Oxy Fuel setupEverlast PowerPlasma 80Everlast Power iMIG 160Everlast Power iMIG 205 Everlast Power iMIG 140EEverlast PowerARC 300Everlast PowerARC 140STEverlast PowerTIG 255EXT
Reply:Thanks, I contacted the company you suggested this morning.
Reply:You can try here http://www.arc-products.com/ too as they are contracted by ESAB to provide service and parts for ESAB as well as others.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base! |
