tig aluminum question

Every time I try to add filler to the puddle, it curls up. What am I doing wrong?
Reply:Number of reasons..Too slow adding filler..Too close to the torch when not..Under power you are trying to melt material that takes LOTS of heat to begin to melt in the solid form that it is..Filler is rather small compared to what you are heating..See where this is going?Contrary to what everyone believes about keeping filler in the gas envelope at all times..if you do when doing aluminum you better be REALLY fast at depositing your dips or all you will do is what you are doing right now...Turning the end into a blob.And that is............Nothing good....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.

Reply:Im also willing to bet its your angle. Can you give us more details on what your doing and when it happens?Keep your wire as far from the arc as possible while still being within the gas zone!
