Reply:Mario, Your work is unbelievable and indoors they will stand the test of time. My concern is outdoors in the elements. I'm sure you put some sort of coating on to help persevere the newly finished work, but I'm thinking you will have to take it back for repairs every so often as the sun and rain take their toll. Is that something in you plans or is it just going to deteriorate naturally?

Reply:A beautiful artistic creation with great craftsmanship. Talk about style and intelligence, you nailed it with this metal work project.PlasmaCam CNC cutterLathe and Band SawClamps
Reply:gorgeous! I would love to see how your outdoor projects hold up. I am curious, have you ever thought about having it electro plated? I don't know if that would hold up. or maybe a phosphorizing and then sealing with a 2 part epoxy.
Reply:Mario- We use this on the ranch and have had incredible success with it. Laquers tend to dry and flake but this stuff seeps into metal pores and bonds with it. http://www.kbs-coatings.com/ |
