I've seen spring loaded pins that will pop into a hole and then have threads on the end to keep them there.I have no idea what they are called. The bewildering assortment of pins at McMaster and Grainger is not a help.Any help would be appreciated. Reply:I went through some time looking for the kind with the ring pull on them. Didn't see them in the McMaster-Carr catalog. Finally found a web site of a company that made them, they didn't sell direct but suggested McMaster! The key was what they were called. McMaster-Carr is my go to place for a lot of products.
Reply:con_fuse9Evidently Reid has been acquired by ESSENTRA.http://www.essentracomponents.com/?s...FYyTfgodvooAfQ They carry a broad selection of OEM mechanismsfor the metal/machine industry.Catalogs are easier to use than web site searches.Reid/ESSENTRA's catalog is more friendly then MCand they are fast to process a catalog request.Opus
