I was in the shop the other day, and I wondered what other guys listen to when they are in the shop? I am 80's Hair Metal. Like Cinderella, Ratt, HoneyMoon Suite, etc. What do you guys listen to?

Reply:@ showdog and A.R. awesome guys, great stuff. Live at Aut Tree is one of my favorite albums/discs or whatever you call them these days. Sometimes I feel like I stand alone in some music genres. Can't leave out the James Hylan Band either! I hate being bi-polar it's awsomeMy Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys

Reply:When I'm actively stick welding, I am listening to the steady beat of 2 Cylinder Kohler. It's an 18 horse band, that feeds on gasoline. Screaming Bob Cat is the lead singer.

Reply:Rush, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Joe Satriani, Tom Petty, The Cars, Steve Miller, The Cult, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Moody Blues.  Those are the ones I have just about worn out.Kinda depends on how I feel when I'm looking at my play list, and who is gonna be within earshot. No earbuds, just real speakers! Then I have to decide if I play what they will like or do I want to pizz 'em off?Bubble gumTooth pixDuct tapeBlack glueGBMF hammerScrew gun --bad battery (see above)

Reply:Holy smokes! You guys have pretty cool music! Haha! Great tunes!
Reply:While actually welding, no music. I need to hear what its doing. (Hobbyist after all). And on a good day, with a little imagination, it might even sound sort of like "frying eggs".  (OK, stop, you're killing me, I cant breathe!)Any other work in the shop, I'm flexible on music. Anything except rap/hip hop. Prefer 70-80-90's rock.   Def Leppard is my favorite band. Pyromania, Hysteria, Adrenalize. Hobbyist - At what point is a "hobby" out-of-control?
Reply:I like the oldies, 60's , 70's , 80's. When relaxing I like classical.     My son's a Professional  musician playing the trombone so I have become accustom to it.     Oldies ; Four Seasons, Beatles, Four Tops, Supremes, Beach Boys, Neil Diamond,  and could play ELVIS ALL DAY !
