since I posted anything. Well after piddling around for a couple months, I finally got the plasma cutter all fixed up and connected and working! I've only had it three months! I got a good Motorguard filter for it. Then I had to decide where I wanted to mount it. It had to be on the unit, but the bolts were 1/4". Way too big to mount. I didn't want to drill that large a hole in my brand new plasma cutter. So I fashioned a mount that allowed me to drill two small holes with short bolts so no damage would ever occur to the unit. I finally got it all together today and hooked it up to my air compressor and it worked like a charm!! Weld On! Attached Images
Reply:That's a nice setup.
Reply:Thanks, I appreciate it. Everything is located in my hot water heater room off the back of the house. I don't have a proper shop yet. One of these days!! Weld On!
Reply:Is that the "toilet paper" filter type? Some day I need to setup my air system better especially for the plasma.

Reply:It looks like toilet paper would work in one but I have two and neither one will take a roll of toilet paper. My welding store sells them and the replaceable filters that fit them. they told me"" do not use toilet paper because it will let particles go down your torch and plug it up. so I haven't, tried it except to see if they would fit.
