I've been using this machine alot at 220v for tig/stick, but now need to use it in a place that only has 115v for stick. The brochure is vague, so I am asking you guys...what do I need to do?thanks Forrest
Reply:just change the plug or make a cheater cord. Use the black and the white wires for single phase. If it is already hooked up for single phase 240V, then the same wires. If it is hooked up for 3phase, then you need to check which stabs on the plug are the black and the white to make up a cheater.
Reply:Yep, no internal changes at all to the machine. If it was already on single-phase, just adapt the plug and plug it in. |
