http://www.northerntool.com/shop/too...2691_200332691Thats about all the $ i want to spend, my HF flux is giving me some ugly results and to much clean up. Wondering if anyone here has this welder or one like it, and when it comes to shielding gas i have no clue what to get. Can anyone help me out with the gas?
Reply:Get the 75/25 mix.
Reply:OK but 75/25 mix of what? lol i'm just now learning this gas stuff.
Reply:i think it called c25 25% Carbon Dioxide and 75% Argon if your going to spend that much get the biggest HF welder not the smallest other welder go big or go home
Reply:You can try straight C02, some people say it works well ! It is a lot cheaper than C25 or pure argon.I use C25 or pure argon.AEAD 200LE, Lincoln precision tig 185, Millermatic 251, Spectrum 625 extreme, Victor torch , Smithy 1220LTD. and Do all C-4 band saw , Always adding.

Reply:yea, im trying to start a small business on the side, right now it don't need anything heavy duty. the HF flux welds what i need it to, i just dont like how long it takes to tune it and the splatter is too much. Just need a normal mig thats easy to use. i'll check out the eastwood 135.
