OK, before you jump on me for using or selling a Harbor Freight welder, hear me out.I'm selling a Dual Mig 151 welder. If you look in the HF forum you'll see that 151 and 131 welders are fairly well known and well liked, at least for their price bracket. I own a second 151 welder and I like it very much. It isn't a Miller, but it will weld nicely down to 20 gauge material on its minimum settings and all the way up to 1/4 inch plate on a single pass on its hotter settings. The one I'm selling isn't beautiful, but it works quite well. It has a new plug, new feed control circuit board. The replacement knob for the feed control never came, but it works well enough without the knob. It doesn't have the wheels or cart, but has the top handle. These welders are light enough to lug around fairly easily anyway. It has 3/4 of a spool of what I think is HF brand flux core wire. The torch tip is a little bent and the gas hood is a little bent up too. It doesn't seem to affect the operation any, except tips require just a bit more than the typical ammount of force to install and remove.I'll try to get some pictures. The owner's manual is available from Harbor Freight. I am going to post it on the local craigslist for $100 or best offer, but I'd really like to get about 60 bucks for it. I think that's a good price considering what this unit is.I don't want to ship it out really, but I'm local to Wickenburg or Flagstaff. I can meet more or less anywhere in the Flagstaff/Wickenburg/Phoenix area if you want this welder. It's a pretty decent starting welder, but could also be used as a beater that gets tossed in the truck and taken place to place (very convenient size, weight, and doesn't cost as much as a high end welder).Any questions don't hesitate to ask. Might be a good idea to PM me as well as post here since I don't always get to the for sale forum to check up on things.I might consider doing a cash and trade for an inexpensive lathe. Even a little 4x5 C0 baby lathe would be a cool trade if I throw some cash into the deal too. Let me know! |
