TIG issue

I've got a Thermal Arc 211i and have been learning to scratch start TIG with it.  I'm having an odd issue where I start the weld normally, but when I let off the trigger at the end of the weld it takes the arc 5-8 seconds to die out, making big fat craters at the end of my weld.  Is this normal, or is something wrong with my welder?
Reply:Check your owners manual for a feature called "crater fill", this allows for a release or activation of this feature when you get to the end of a weld. There may also be an adjustment of the specific time that this occurs over or the duration. Good luck and best regards, Allanaevald

Reply:It has no foot pedal, but does have a trigger on the gun.  Its a multi process welder that does mig, dc tig and stick.  It doesn't have crater fill, and I don't think it has downslope but I'll double check.

Reply:Thank you!  Found that this morning.  Will play with it ate i get done at the doctor, got a piece of steel in my eye last night.
