Just finished building rig truck

I just finished building my rig truck. Its a 2x2 1/8" wall square tube frame with 3/16 deck and skirts. It weighs 11880 completely rigged out. Took me all summer and now im looking for some work ready to hit the road!! Anybody hear of any pipe jobs it would be much appreciated.

Reply:Nice lookin bed. I don't think that's to heavy for a dually. My workRig is 13650lbs all rigged out and my single wheel is around 11500.  Where are you looking for work at??? What state
Reply:It doesn't look to me like you have FINISHED building your rig just yet. You show up to work with a welding bed tied to a trailer(last pic) with no equipment on it and say your ready to work, they are gonna laugh you off the job site. You need to get it mounted on a truck and all your tools and equipment on it BEFORE you can claim it is finished. Show us what it looks like FULLY rigged out, ready to start arcin & sparkin. Until then it AINT finished.
Reply:Sorry for the misunderstanding Bistineau but when I said finished I meant finished. I just didn't have any pictures on my phone so I went out and snapped one for you. Its been in the fields around here doin repairs for farmers for a few weeks arcin and sparkin.  Im looking for work around Ohio, Im from Northwest Ohio but willing to go anywhere. I used to do shutdowns and just came off one so im used to travelling all over the country but building this bed has kinda depleted my bank account and limited my distance until I get some money made back.
Reply:Well now, that DOES look more like a completed rig to me. It's got a truck under it and a welding machine, I see some torch bottles too. It just didn't look finish Finished tied to the trailer like it was. Guess that's from when it got back from the painters. There's a new steel plant being built down here where I am at. Mostly the dirt work being done right now, but I figure in a few months they will be looking for rig welders to start getting the framing together. It's supposed to cover about 800 acres when completed. Maybe you can save up your pennies by then to make the trip, if your interested. That ought to keep you busy for a while.
Reply:That looks really good. Do the reels come off so you can lock them in a box at night? If you are going all over the place might want to look into that. Reply:Yes the reels do come off so the can be locked away in the camper at nite fairly easy the taillights, brake lights, and turn signals are in that little slit across the back end its a recon light bar heres a picture of the back with the taillights.
