Hobart 210 Cart

Here's a little cart I've been working on for my hobart 210. It's still a work in progress, as I still need to figure out a better way to organize my cables. All the metal that was used, was scrap, from either work or school. The handle on the front, and the bent tube between the welder and tank were both projects for school last semester. If you have any suggestions or comments for my cart, please share them!

Reply:it's actually fairly stable, having the cylinder in back puts most of the weight over the pnuematic wheels. i was worried about it being tippy as well, the rear wheels are fairly far apart, giving it a decent amount of stability. i picked the clear caster because its a locking caster.

Reply:Cute as a button! Something that I might do is make a longer wagon style handle that would stow away under the cart. Drop the handle to the horizontal and push it straight back into a pipe... maybe. Really like the tire/HOBART color match, too! Reply:You can't get much welding time with such a small tank. What happens if you get a bigger tank? Weld On!

Reply:Most of my welding is done on the ground, so it works out nicely. I've considered adding a taller handle, one that goes over the top of the machine. I'll most likely end up using the tube bender at school to make something. I like the cable holder for the Millermatic 180 that Winmac posted, I'll look into creating something like that.

Reply:Here is the sketch up of my cart. And here is the cart in progress.  Still have a ways to go but its looking ok.  What do you guys think of the design?
