Well I finally got one. I didn't need it, but I thought it was cool and worth trying out. This is the one i got. 110v.http://www.ebay.com/itm/TIG-Welder-T...item20b393bc65It's not as cheap as a bench grinder, but I am really happy I have it. I leave it plugged in and on top of my welder so I can just grab it and grind and don't even have to stand up and walk to the grinder or put it in the drill. Just making the lazy lazier If I have to weld something some where it's easy to bring and just toss it on the passenger seat. No worries about getting anything dirty. On a 1-10 scale, I'd rate this thing a 10. Probably one of the best things I've gotten to date!Torchmate 2x2 CNC with Flashcut CNC controlsHypertherm Powermax45 Esab ET220i Razorweld 195 MigRazorweld 200ac/dc TigTormach 770, Tormach xstechRazorweld, Vipercut/Vipermig, SSC Foot Pedal Dealer

Reply:On the first one. Havent flipped it yet. You can keep repositioning the fitting to place the tungsten at different parts of the wheel.Im a hobby guy, so I dip more but don't Tig as much as many. probably only did about 100-150 tips on mine so far.TA Arcmaster 300CM3XMT 304S22P12 suitcase feederX-Treme 12VSOptima pulserTA161SMaxstar 150STLHypertherm PM45OP setupStihl 020AVP, 039, 066 Magnum
Reply:I have a very similar one, only time I have an issue is if I dip the tungsten, you have to cut out the built up end as it will not fit through the hole, forces me to use proper procedure for re-sharpening contaminated tungsten. Overall I am happy with it |
