Found it for 250. Not what I was looking for but I couldn't pass on the price. It's a free light machine missing side panels. Etc. I pick it up this afternoon. I'll post better pics. Reply:well I changed my mind. I went to look at it, and while I am sure it was worth the asking price. I didnt need another project in the yard. It was missing the air cleaner, none of the linkages on the carb were hooked up. no side panels no battery box rust in the tank... and it was a black face green light machine. I have a 9n ford tractor that needs all the same stuff. So I passed. Reply:old tractors are pretty awesome. They show how things can be built to last! I will post a thread when I start working on it. Reply:I love old tractors. My dad has a beautiful 8n, and I recently traded in my massey 165 for a new kubota mx5100. I gotta admit tho, I miss that old growling massey blowing black smoke like a locomotive, but I love that new kubota with the turbo diesel in it as well. Reply:Yeah I see the need for a 4wd with a loader as well. I have some property and will start preparing to build a house soon. I have lots of clearing to do. We have a Christmas parade here. All farm equipment. Horse or tractor. Lots of cool older machines. It's fun. Thanks CEP. makes me feel better. I just couldn't see putting all that time and money into something I don't need or not really want.
