What radiators are you guys putting into shorthoods?

Reply:1948. that's a little newer than mine. Do you have the big brass non-pressurized radiator like mine? The radiator is the actual frame that holds the hood up? If this is the case they do not seem to be available. I have been looking for a new cap gasket and can't even find that. What's wrong with yours? Mine just had a tiny pin hole from the grill being jambed into it. I was able to solder it easy. I have had other NLA radiators re-cored here at a local shop, price varies by size. If yours is like mine I would say between $200-$250 for a re-core. other wise you will have to find the newer style frame and buy a new style radiator and they are over $200 plus you have to find the frame for it.

Reply:Are you near PA? I know a few shops around the state here that re-core radiators.
