Hey guys I just drew up my cart in Sketchup, I have made the frame of the cart, didn't add casters or any of the additions such as the bench grinder mounting bracket, eye hooks for chain for my argon bottle, or the maxstar. Simply because I am new to sketchup and do not know how to design stuff like that quite yet. Right now it is 2 tiers, could possibly add a 3rd. I attempted to make gussets but I am not 100% sure where a gusset should start and stop. The argon bottle size will be a 150CF, the measurements on my maxstar are 13.5 H x 7.5 W x 17.5 DAny feedback is welcome, I have already purchased my 1.5" square tubing and expanded metal, no casters yet since I didn't have the funds.Miller Maxstar 200 SDPiperliner #10 Gold
Reply:Ahh I made a mistake with the height of the cart dimension the total height is 2' 1 1/2" without casters.Miller Maxstar 200 SDPiperliner #10 Gold
Reply:http://sketchup.google.com/3dwarehou...G=Search&hl=enClick on the link to go to the Sketchup 3D warehouse and see a search of casters. You can resize them to be the right size for your project. Where are the components going? Maxstar on bottom? Maxstar 200 is only about 40 lbs so it doesn't need much bracing. All you may need is small plate triangles in he corner instead of tube braces. You mentioned a bench grinder bracket. Where does it go? All in all, a good start but need some more details.Millermatic 200Hobart Handler 120Victor O/A & Ramco BandsawLincoln 225 ACSnapOn AD HoodMiller XMT304/22AHypertherm Powermax 1650 G3Lincoln Idealarc DC600 w/Extreme 12 VSMiller Digital Elite "Joker"

Reply:The 3D Warehouse saves a lot of time on projects like this. You can get gas cylinders, casters, bench grinders, etc. I use it a lot. You need to find a fab shop that'll let you buy the scraps for scrap prices. It can save you a ton of money. You'd be surprised with what you can buy with $5.Millermatic 200Hobart Handler 120Victor O/A & Ramco BandsawLincoln 225 ACSnapOn AD HoodMiller XMT304/22AHypertherm Powermax 1650 G3Lincoln Idealarc DC600 w/Extreme 12 VSMiller Digital Elite "Joker"
