Drilling holes with the old school frame drill rig.Man this this rigs slow but it built a lot of tri-axle dumps back in the day.Clamped on template to help locate the holeshad to do a little work on the tag axle brake cam tubes. These factory tabes seem a little light considering what they have to do. I've seen a lot of these bendmade new ones from half inches.

Reply:I worked in a truck shop in Arizona in the 80's, and they finally bought a frame drill similar to that. It sure beat the heck out of air operated hand drill. We moved a lot of axles.

Reply:Never saw a "frame" drill like that one. I have both Hougen and Milwaukee mag drills. Bought them both used, way too much money for new ones. I use the Hougen with annular cutters and the Milwaukee for twist drill bits.I like that frame drill, it seems to be ideal for it's purpose, it is hard to position a mag drill on the mark when on a vertical surface without something to help hold them up until you can switch the magnet on. The Milwaukee especially is a heavy thing to work with. You need to tie up a mag drill when mounted on a vertical anyway since a pulled out extension cord, a tripped breaker or a power failure would send it crashing to the floor."The reason we are here is that we are not all there"SA 200Idealarc TM 300 300MM 200MM 25130a SpoolgunPrecision Tig 375Invertec V350 ProSC-32 CS 12 Wire FeederOxweld/Purox O/AArcAirHypertherm Powermax 85LN25
