Here is a custom made stand I made for my harbor freight tubing roller. Yes I know they sell a stand, but it looks very cheap and wobbly, plus what fun is there in that in just buying it, instead of making one. I have probably around $25-30 in this, a lot of the material was left over from other jobs. I was sick of having to lift the heavy bender up on the table all the time and clamp it. This doesn't bolt to the floor, but it is plenty wide enough and won't tip over. On to the build...Materials used3'' x 3/16 square tube1/4'' plate for the top and bottom3/16'' x 4'' flat for the gussets Out came the hypertherm powermax 30, and what a job it did cutting up the plates to sizeTop holes drilled for the roller to bolt toReady to be tacked up..Test fit, everything is okNow on to the gussets, these were cut from 3/16''x 4'' flat barHardly any dross to chip offGussets all cleaned up/corners rounded down. On to the next post.......Ya gotta spend money to make money!

Reply:Will you bolt it to the floor or will it work ok that way? I just got one and was thinking about mounting it to a big truck wheel as a base. Nice job on the stand.I just reread you opening statement and you said it won't tip.Last edited by Crabo; 11-09-2013 at 12:13 PM.
