Reply:I like the big wheels and having a place to hang the grinders. Looks great!Gas bottle storage on the back?
Reply:yes it does. I have some more pic. I have not painted it yet. after I use it for awhile and make sure I don't want to add anything to it, then I will paint it.The 2nd shelf is for my stick welder, I just have not had time to put on the cart yet.thanks for the nice words. Reply:I also am showing it with out any of the grinders in the way. I also still need to do some work with the rear axle. I didn't have any round bar, so I used some re-bar I had laying around. I think I will replace that with some solid bar, some day. I am already using the cart and have started a new bumper project for my 2005 Nissan frontier truck (you can see it in the back ground of some of the pic's) . I might not have time to work on the cart for awhile. I will post pic's of the bumper once I am done laying it all out and have it tacked into place.
Reply:Busy little cart! Where's the kitchen sink? (Yea...I'd change out those rebar axles...before someone see's 'em)! Nice job for an early project, though. Reply:Wow! I like the light! I also like the way it pushes around like a shopping cart instead of a tow around like wagon. Good use of swivel castors. I also like your bottle holder, way better than a chain. The bottom being expanded metal means it wont pile up with dust. I like it!Nothing Ever Got Done By Quitting, Never Give Up.
Reply:thanks for the kind words.I hate having bottles rattle around, so I came up with that latch and put some foam around to keep it from metal on metal.it does push easy, I work on a dirt floor in my barn so I had to have the big wheels. I also had to have the light because the barn doesn't have vary many lights. I like having the lights up in the air, that way they are not in my eyes. they also shoot light over my back onto what I am working on. it also lets me have light outside. It was also all built from scrap I had on hand. |
