Afternoon fellas, got another question from the new guy looking for answers from u pros. I am going to put some thin guage metal/ steel as my door panels in my rod. I was wondering what the best tool to cut it with would be? I was thinking my jigsaw?? Wanted to see what u guys would use?? Needs to be a pretty clean cut too. Thanks again I owe everyone one here a beer for your guys input.LIVE BETTER WORK UNION! BUY AMERICAN!
Reply:For super thin stuff like that i have a nibbler i use, but i'm sure your jigsaw will work great. Tin shears should work good too.... electric, pneumatic or manual.
Reply:Yeah I used the shears and it worked out great, like a knife through butter!!! ThanksLIVE BETTER WORK UNION! BUY AMERICAN!
Reply:Angle grinder with a thin cut-off disc works good too for straight cuts.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op |
