Hybrid 4T/pedal control

Is this a thing that exists? Basically it would work just like 4T, except that between upslope and downslope, you would have pedal control within a user-configured range, versus the way 4T (as I understand it) works, where you have fixed output. So you would still have the benefit of a predictable and consistent start amps, upslope, downslope and ending amps, but during the welding phase, you would have the ability to tweak the heat as needed.I don't know if this is the kind of thing that anybody would even want, frankly. I don't know if most TIG welders who use a pedal have no interest in 4T, and most TIG welders who use 4T do so largely because they can't or don't want to use a pedal. I was just sitting around and thinking that 4T is nice and all, but it must really stink if you're halfway through a weld and your piece heats up and you have to stop just to dial down the amperage on your welder.
