Reply:Hello farmwelder, of the three that you have listed I probably like the LH-70 the best. If I could choose the rods. I would choose Airco "code-arc" that was made a bit over 30 years ago, next would be Murex, then probably Eutectic(yeah they make a really nice E7018, fortunately I didn't have to buy it). Of the other two that you listed, I would go with the Excalibur next and the Hobart rod last. My $.02 for the conversation. Best regards, Allanaevald
Reply:Air Liquide Blueshield 7018 is by far the most popular in Alberta/Canada but Esab OK 55 is pretty close and quite a bit cheaper. The older Blueshield was better than the stuff today.
