Fakes? - 3m Speedglas from Korea on eBay

Hey everyone,First post in these parts.For a while now, I've been thinking about buying a Speedglas welding helmet. I looked online and found the cheapest ones are on eBay coming from Korea.They seem to be quite a bit cheaper than anywhere else, are they likely to be knock-offs/fakes?I did a Google search for fake speedglas but found nothing.Any help would be appreciated! Reply:just because it ships from korea doesnt mean its made there, I sent seller a question on country of origin on the helmet..see what they say..Of all the things I lost I miss my mind the most...I know just enough about everything to be dangerous......You cant cure stupid..only kill it...
Reply:If i was a betting man I would say they are real. Several large pictures and they look the part in every way. Reply:My speedglas helmet is made in Sweden; my Miller Digital Elite is made in Korea. Both are a few years old. It is possible that newer Speedglas helmets are made in Korea but I haven't seen any.JohnA few weldersA lot of hammersA whole lot of C-clamps

Reply:I emailed the seller and they stated the hoods advertised on ebay are made in sweden..Of all the things I lost I miss my mind the most...I know just enough about everything to be dangerous......You cant cure stupid..only kill it...
