How many cuts can be expected from the "multi purpose" blade (orange label, shipped stock with the Rage 3 saw)? Cutting 1" square tubing, 1/8" wall, cut @ 45 degrees.
Reply:I have the Rage 3. I never counted cuts but the multi-purpose blade does last a good while with thin wall tube. They don't last very long with thick wall or solid, especially if you get impatient with them. On thick you have to go slow and easy. The blades re-sharpenable. Costs about $15 to have it sharpened at local blade service company. The saw itself is very well made and accurate in all directions. I'm very happy with mine. Although, don't go to treating it rough, it is a precision instrument, not something to be knocking around on the jobsite.MM350P/Python/Q300MM175/Q300DialarcHFHTP MIG200PowCon300SMHypertherm380ThermalArc185Purox oaF350CrewCab4x4LoadNGo utilitybedBobcat250XMT304/Optima/SpoolmaticSuitcase12RC/Q300Suitcase8RC/Q400Passport/Q300Smith op
Reply:That thing looks sick!! Def. need to add it to my wishlist
Reply:I love it! I've since bought the Rage1, which is a 7-1/4" metal cutting circular saw and am planning to some day buy the Rage 2, 14" cold saw and Bora 2800 mag drill. Evolution makes good stuff at a very reasonable price.
