I bought this Tig torch cooler, it has a Hobart sticker, but I cannot find any record of any Hobart Coolers.  Here are some pix, I attached a circulation hose and it seems to pump fine.  The model number is shown.  The coolant appears to be automotive, but I don't know.  The last picture is of it operating.  Thanks for any help you can give, it would be nice to get a manual once I know what it is.  BTW, I'm new here and will update my profile soon.  Thanks
Reply:"it has a Hobart sticker, but I cannot find any record of any Hobart Coolers"Made by Hobart Bros, manufacturers of welding equipment, not Hobart chinacrap division of IndoChinaThugWorks. the people who sell the white machines with the Hobart name onthe side.  Probably noit much chance of finding information on the old girl unless you can find a Hobart Bros dealer from the 1960s.  All the paperwork for that probably went in the dumpster after IndoChina Thug Works started whoring the Hobart name. What do you need a manual for, it's either a roller or gear pump hooked to a motor with a sump pump coupling.  The rollers are available from Grainger.  The finned core is probably from an aftermarket auto air conditioning system like a Mark 4.  Hobart Bros knew enough to sourse parts that could be found or replaced anyplace in the world under field conditions.  BTW, it won't work worth a dam without the cover on.

Reply:Thanks a lot guys, it looks like it is a Dynaflux R1000.  DDA52, it is exactly like the one in the link you sent.  Thanks.Old Fart, Thanks for the reply.  It is an Oberdorfer gear pump, I just like to learn what I can and find manuals for all my tools in case I ever need something.  I know it won't work well without the cover, I just picked it up and wanted to make sure there were no obvious problems before I plugged it in.  I removed the cover and everything looked intact without any rodent nests, so I tried it out without the cover so I could verify nothing was loose or bent.  Everything appears fine and functional.  They are simple machines for sure.  Now I will clean it up, flush the old fluid, and remove the Hobart label.FredMiller 330 A/BPDynaflux R1000 coolerLinde HDA-300 HP-18 torchHobart BetaMig 251Hobart Handler 135 Campbell Hausfeld 80P&H 181 Arc Century 295 Arc Hypertherm Powermax 900 Plasma cutterSeveral Oxy/Acc torch and tanks
Reply:I just contacted Dynaflux, they still make this model, unchanged for many years.  Nice folks, they were very helpful and are sending me a parts list in case I ever need anything.  It is nice to find something that is still American made and not obsolete...FredMiller 330 A/BPDynaflux R1000 coolerLinde HDA-300 HP-18 torchHobart BetaMig 251Hobart Handler 135 Campbell Hausfeld 80P&H 181 Arc Century 295 Arc Hypertherm Powermax 900 Plasma cutterSeveral Oxy/Acc torch and tanks
